With performance marketing ecosystems getting increasingly complex, comprehensive control of data and increased operational efficiencies are important attributes in this environment.

Brands have moved beyond just implementing campaigns and are also managing complex partner networks, a range of products, and changing compliance regulations. With this new complexity, the smallest inefficiency within data access can slow growth and performance.

To address these challenges, the March 2026 product updates were created. This month, we enhanced our existing features that provide more flexibility in how you utilize your data and will reduce the time required to perform manual processes.

With improvements to the Admin API and affiliate onboarding workflows, Trackier continues to move towards a more flexible, scalable, and user-centric platform, helping you focus less on manual tasks and more on driving performance.

1. Product Category Now Available in Admin API

For many performance marketers, especially those running multi-product or multi-category campaigns, accurate revenue and payout calculations depend on product-level data, not just campaign-level categorization.

Until now, clients relied heavily on campaign category (used in SmartLinks), which limited flexibility when defining custom payout logic.

As a result of this update, Trackier has added the Product Category directly into its Conversion log on the Trackier Admin API so that marketers can maintain control over custom payment logics.

What has changed?

  • A new Product Category field is now available in Admin API conversion logs
  • This field is independent of the campaign category used in SmartLinks
  • Clients can now extract and use product-level data directly via API

Why Does This Matter?

In performance marketing, precision directly impacts profitability. When payout logic is tied only to campaign-level data, it often leads to oversimplified assumptions, especially for businesses managing multiple products with different margins, pricing models, or promotional strategies.

This update introduces Product Category at the API level, which provides an additional layer of flexibility and control for:

  • Revenue attribution – Attribution of conversions will be more accurately attributed based on the product that was sold, rather than by the campaign that drove it.
  • Custom payout calculations – Create dynamic commission structures that align with product-level margins and business goals.
  • Advanced reporting setups – Create more granular reports that accurately reflect the true performance of each category, versus aggregated estimates.

Now, rather than depending on assumptions at the campaign level, teams can:

  • Establish payouts based on a specific product category to ensure the commissions received are based on the actual value.
  • Create more accurate and scalable commission structures for various product lines.
  • Seamlessly align tracking data to business logic, financial models, and BI systems.

Real Impact

For instance, if a company has two distinct types of products:

  • Electronics (low profit)
  • Apparel (high profit)

They can now:

  • Allocate payouts by product category
  • Leverage API data to automate commission processes
  • Eliminate under- or over-compensating affiliates

2. CSV Upload for Custom Affiliate Sign-up Questions

Affiliate onboarding can be among the most operationally intensive processes and can be especially time-consuming when having to collect custom data fields such as:

  • GST details
  • PAN information
  • Business classifications

Adding or updating these fields was previously a manual, time-consuming, and inefficient process, as this was performed for each affiliate.

Trackier has now implemented a CSV upload capability for custom sign-up questions for affiliates to streamline the process and make it much faster and easier.

What has changed?

  • A CSV upload function has now been added to the Affiliate section of the CSV.
  • Allows bulk upload of custom sign-up field data.
  • Supports both:
    • New affiliate onboarding
    • Updating existing affiliate records

Why Does This Matter?

The processing of large amounts of affiliate information can be challenging to maintain. When multiple unique fields are to be collected, modified, or verified across hundreds or thousands of partners, the manual work typically needed to complete this is time-consuming, increasing the potential for human error, inconsistencies, and/or missing data.

With the introduction of CSV upload for custom sign-up questions, this entire workflow becomes significantly more efficient. Teams can now:

  • Onboard multiple affiliates at once without needing to input the same data multiple times.
  • Collect and verify your data in a timely manner by ensuring all required fields are populated correctly.
  • Streamline your compliance processes for critical items such as GST, PAN, etc.

Where in the past you had to update your affiliates one at a time, now you can perform this action with one structured upload, which will save you hours of administrative time and provide you with more accurate and consistent data across your network.

Use Cases

1. Faster Affiliate Onboarding – Upload all required custom fields during onboarding without manual entry.

2. Retroactive Data Collection – Need GST or PAN information from your current affiliates? Just upload a CSV, and all affiliate records will be updated at once.

3. Operational Efficiency – Reduce the need for repetitive manual tasks while increasing your team’s capacity to focus on higher priority work.

What Does This Mean for Trackier Users?

The updates made to Trackier for March 2026 are based upon two primary goals:

  • Control – With Product Category in API, you define your own payout and revenue logic.
  • Efficiency – With CSV uploads, you eliminate repetitive onboarding tasks

Together, these updates help teams:

  • Scale campaigns with better accuracy
  • Require less manual input
  • Build systems that are both flexible and efficient
