vNative can be easily integrated with Google Ad manager for Ad Networks or Ad Agencies who work with vNative & Google Ad Manager.

Format Your Tracking Link

DoubleClick uses semicolons (;) in their tracking links, which can cause redirect issues when used as your offer URL. To solve this, substitute semicolons with an affiliate sub ID macro in your offer URL, and add that affiliate sub ID into your tracking link. We recommend using the {p4} macro, as it is typically less used.

For example, let’s start with this DoubleClick link:;sz=120x600;click=…

After replacing the two semicolons with {p4}, we get the following:{p4}sz=120x600{p4}click=…

Finally, add &p4=; to the end of your vNative tracking link:{click_id}&p2={source}&p4=;

The result is that vNative stores the semicolon in a publisher sub ID value and returns it in the corresponding macro.

You can use any other publisher sub ID instead, like p1, p2, p3, or p5. Just make sure to incorporate it in both the offer URL as a macro and the tracking link as a parameter.

Publishers Tracking vNative Campaign with DoubleClick

Tracking a vNative campaign though DoubleClick requires one change to the publisher’s iframe code: adding &url=%%CLICK_URL_ESC%% in the URL.

<!– iFrame Ad Tag –>
<iframe src=”;url=%%CLICK_URL_ESC%%” width=”300″ height=”250″ frameborder=”0″ marginwidth=”0″ marginheight=”0″ scrolling=”no”></iframe>
<!– // End Ad Tag –>

Important: Using the url parameter and %%CLICK_URL_ESC%% macro tells DoubleClick to include the click URL as an encoded value, which is key to making the tracking function. Tracking will not function with the redirect parameter or %%CLICK_URL%% macros.
